The new year is full of new possibilities. How will you make the most of it? It’s a question some of you have already answered through resolutions and setting goals.
America’s Top New Year’s Resolutions for 2023 are:

- To eat healthier
- To lose weight
- To save more money
- To spend more time with family/friends
Only about 16% of people follow through with their resolutions. Most people blame their failure to fulfill resolutions because of lack of time, resources, and motivation.
Here are some tips to be on the other side of the 16%.
- Set realistic expectations
Establish reachable goals that are still challenging. Reaching your goals require you to change your behaviors. - Have someone that holds you accountable
Work with a coach, mentor, or trainer. Work with people that elevate and encourage you. - Track your progress
What gets measured, gets done. What gets done, can be made a habit. Keep a track record of accomplishments. - Break the resolution into plans, action steps
Good implementation plans are key. Goals become more realistic when they can be broken down into smaller pieces and scheduled on a calendar. - Get rid of self-doubt
Don’t allow your past failures to dictate your future. Celebrate each tiny victory. Don’t let a minor setback turn into a permanent failure.
