My youngest son, Jamie, graduated from college on Saturday (even though the actual ceremony was postponed until August). The psychological pressure of higher education, without the reward of actually getting things done, is the strangest of human experiences. There is a huge sense of relief upon graduation, no more papers due, no more tests on the horizon.

New ideas get developed into experiments, feedback gets evaluated, and plans for effective pivots get executed. The owners of these businesses don’t have to create every new idea or push every initiative through. I wish we had space to share all of the wins.
